Petrogenesis of the Granitic Dykes in the Yangshan Gold Belt: Insights from Zircon U-Pb Chronology, Petrography, and In-Situ Hf Isotope Analysis

The Yangshan gold belt is renowned for its igneous rock formations, particularly dykes that form in tectonically weak zones. Some of these formations exhibit a close spatial relationship with mineralization, and tiny portion the granitic serve as ore bodies by themselves. In order to investigate nature their association we conducted comprehensive study consisting zircon U-Pb chronology, petrography, situ Hf isotope analysis 25 dyke samples collected from east west across belt. According LA-ICP-MS dating results, inherited ages are concentrated between 745.0 802.0 Ma, magmatic intrusion mainly fall 201.0 213 Ma. Moreover, display calc-alkaline high-K peraluminous series, which relatively enriched light over heavy REE, moderate Eu anomalies. These rich large-ion lithophile elements poor high-field-strength elements. Lu-Hf data range εHf(t) values −1.5 0.1, mantle model (TDM1) 859 937 crustal (TDM2) 1111 1218 found were formed 200 Ma ago, during period intracontinental extension following late collision Yangtze plate Qinling microplates. originated volcanic basement Mesoproterozoic Bikou Group, was melting upper crust under thickening caused subduction microplate. Subsequently, transported along zone, assimilating surrounding rocks undergoing transformation “I”-type “S”-type granite before finally evolving into specific “A”-type characteristics.
